Hoover was President when the economy crashed in 1929. Everyone can find that in their grade school history book, if they don't already know it. Who was speaker of the house? In a few years the only name that will be tagged to a default will be President Obama, and his refusals to meet with congress to work out a solution leading up to the default will be huge.
