Get used to it. These 'government closings' that have special exceptions for some, are a prelude to what we will experience with Obamacare, and most future government policies (especially entitlements).
If you are on the blackballed list (conservative, white, Christian, small business owner, NRA member, home schooler, enlisted military, preacher, family farmer, retired senior, etc.) you will eventually be of little priority. Those with 'special needs' (homosexuals, minorities, illegals, government officials, etc.) will eventually be given preferential treatment.
