I don't wish margin calls on anyone, believe me I have gotten my share.

But with a stock down 30% there are plenty of people that will get margin calls.

If someone bought yesterday with 50% equity, they just lost 30% of their equity. Either cover or sell. With a drop like this is a stock most will sell, some will cover.

But with year end a couple of weeks away most will sell so they can use the loss.

Long term ORCL is a great buy. At 20 it would be excellant.
