I agree with you 100% on the political side. And just to be clear I was a conservative when we needed conservative policies in the late 70's/ early 80's. That was the end of K-Wave Summer so bringing down inflation and supply side economic policies were what was needed for prosperity. Now we need the exact opposite set of policies because we find ourselves stuck in K-Wave Winter with creeping deflationary pressures and insufficient demand.

So, we must see an aggressive adoption of Keynesian economic policies and the purging of misguided and destructive Teaparty austerity policy in order to finally escape the clutches of this K-Wave Winter. Only under that new political regime can K-Wave Spring come into full bloom. There is much prosperity to come once that transition is complete but first we will have to suffer through the last gasp efforts of the wingnuts like we are experiencing now. I only pray that the damage they do can be somewhat contained until November 2014 when they will hopefully be put out to pasture for good.
