Neil,

The Ancot guy talked about Europe as being easier to penetrate because they don't have as much existing infrastructure as the U.S.

Here's another interesting tidbit. I asked him TWICE what companies would be at the forefront of Fibre Channel development, and he mentioned names like Digital, Data General, Compaq, etc. BOTH times, the FIRST name he mentioned was a surprise to me. IBM! I thought he made a mistake, and that's why I asked the question again. I've pretty much ignored IBM, because they have supported SSA so strongly until recently, but maybe they deserve a closer look. You would think that the test equipment makers would know who is doing the most FC development. I did read an editorial over the weekend that said that IBM was the last of the major players to jump on the Fibre Channel bandwagon, but I didn't pay as much attention as I should have.
