What worries me tejek is the right wing keeps pushing us into unconstitutional positions. And we keep capitulating. Every time I see an ACLU person on they are despondent over how much unconstitutional behavior we seem to be involved in. I am reminded of a quote by Eric Fromm: The most neurotic person is he who adapts successfully to a neurotic system. Nazi Germany is a perfect example. Anyway, I have spent a lifetime trying not to do that. And during the 60's it was really rough to do that. When I joined the counter culture and rejected our primitive culture which was racist, sexist and jingoistic, and militaristic (Viet Nam war), for a time I was shunned by every friend I had and my right wing dad. That was a very tough time for me. But looking back, I was right and they were wrong. And I am proud I had the grit to tough it out.
