People are born equal but most definitely don't stay that way.

I have a Modest Proposal which would take IQ out of it: simply have everyone take a test designed to measure your knowledge of history, politics, current events, economics, etc., call it your Citizenship Quotient or CQ for short.

Every voter who does not take the test gets 1.0000 of a vote. If you get a certain score, the weight of your vote increases to 1.25, and so on up the testing ladder.

Oh, I know, racist, elitist, blah, blah, blah.

However, I see no reason why a moron who votes for a guy for President on the premise that he will get her a free 'sail' phone should have an equal say so with me or you or anyone else at SI, a fairly smart if divided group.
