Consolidated Magna (CMV VSE) has reported that initial results on their Koala base metal project 100 km south-southwest of Chihuahua, Mexico has returned encouraging results. Geophysical results identify 16 potential targets over four zones measuring 1000 by 800 metres and indicate a target depth of 200-300 metres. These results lie within a 3,500 by 500 metre zone of altered limestone containing anomalies values of lead, zinc, copper and silver. Soil sampling returned values up to 1440 ppm copper, 720 ppm zinc, 720 ppm lead and 26.9 g/t silver.
These results are significant but represent early stage work. The company officially intends on drilling the property in January but we suspect any real work will have to be performed by a joint-venture partner which is required due to Magna's poor financial state. Magna remains a hold.

"Canadian Speculator update on CMV for this week" in total agreement with you, what we need is money for additional drilling. Got any? cheers, jerry
