Yup. Taking away their freedom by giving them health insurance.
Barack Obama has no ability to give anything to anyone without stealing from someone else. In order to give to some of us (almost always those who represent special interest groups who support him either financially or at the ballot box) he steals from the rest of us (almost always hard-working Americans who seek only to benefit from a lifetime of work and sacrifice, and who simply desire to choose for themselves where to focus their charitable contributions).
Those of you who envision Barack Obama as some sort of benevolent, compassionate savior need to obtain a deep reality check. Personally, he is a callous, self-absorbed, narcissistic man who hasn't a clue regarding the genuine definition of charity ... which, since he chooses to dictate the terms of charity to others ... renders him nothing more than a hypocrite and a thief ... and an arrogant thief at that.
That is, unless you believe that the role of the president of a representative republic includes the power to redistribute citizen wealth, in which case your views on that subject are diametrically opposed to those of the Founders of the American Republic.
'The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If ‘Thou shalt not covet’ and ‘Thou shalt not steal’ were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society before it can be civilized or made free' ... John Adams, A Defense of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America, 1787
There are literally hundreds of similar expressions, uttered by virtually every one of our Founders. Try reading them. Doing so with an open mind, free from the indoctrination to which you have been exposed, might provide you an entirely new appreciation of the noble foundations of this Republic. Or not.
  I'm betting on not. |
