All presidents have done similar things. So I guess we actually have been electing dictators all along... Remember how Smirk issued a record number of signing statements that essentially said that the laws it was attached to would not be enforced? You do remember that, don't you? Granted, I don't like the practice. But Obama isn't doing them at nearly the same clip as his predecessor. So if this makes Obama a dictator...
