Yea, you got it. It means that some positions are FORCED to sell. It you don't cover, you don't have a choice. Your position is liquidated. How's it affect ORCL itself? Not much -- in the long run. But today is a trader's day, not a long term investor's day. There a lot of cross currents at play here & margin selling is one of them -- whether you like it or not.
