Gold....for me it's that old saying. If a stock/commodity doesn't react bullishly to what should be bullish news you sell it. If it does the opposite you buy it. As it stands the trade just looks so broken. That's always a tough spot to claw out of...plus you have the status quo against it.

Right now gold is mostly reacting poorly to what should be positive news....and reacting even worse to negative news. It's been that way for a while with the odd counter trend/short covering rally here and there.

I'd love a rip your face off rally in gold....it would make the venture a lot of fun again. I just don't see it in the next quarter or two....and there is a possibility in my mind the best is behind it for the next 4-5 years (although in my gut I doubt it).

Plenty of time to get bully on it if the worm turns. I'd rather miss the first 10-15% than participate in the agony the ardent longs are enduring....and have been for a few years now.
