Benchmark Taking Mingo Bay Across South Carolina
MYTRLE BEACH, S.C., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Mingo Bay Beverages, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MGBA - news) has today announced that the Company has entered into a distribution agreement with Benchmark Distributing of Myrtle Beach, SC that will give Mingo Bay statewide distribution throughout South Carolina.
The agreement was reached on Thursday, December 5 between Benchmark President Bob Cline and MGBA President Larry Moses. Benchmark began testing Mingo Bay last summer in the Myrtle Beach market. ''They now realize what viable products the tea, juice and bar mixes are and what these products can do for their bottom line,'' said Moses.
The Mingo Bay/Benchmark project will officially kick off during the Hotel, Motel and Restaurant show in Myrtle Beach this January. Effective February 1, Billboard Talents, an advertising agency, headed by Buz Bolick will begin the kickoff of the project. Immediate markets to be impacted are Myrtle Beach, Columbia, Greenville, Spartanburg, Hilton Head and Charleston, SC.
Revenues for Mingo Bay are expected to be around $5,000,000 within the next three years. ''If we make this program work in South Carolina then we can make it work anywhere,'' said Moses. ''Bob Cline, Buz Bolick and Benchmark are all class acts. They will get the job done and we are absolutely delighted at the confidence they have expressed in Mingo Bay,'' stated Moses.
