There is one other thing to consider, and probably will tick off some radiologists.... The xray's require a lot of experience to read and decipher.. MRI is soooo clear that a technologist can do a fair job of it and if you use Contrast enhancing then me and you can get the job done with pushbutton ease... that is one to sleep on when profesionals in the field discuss this new technology... I only say this from a Freudian type subconciouss aversion to this new technology... not from any heartfelt or ill intentioned purposes... I mean if my job was somewhat diminished by technology which it is every day.. I hate it too... that is the people factor.. I personally have learned to use the technology to vault my capabilities to new levels of efficiency and that is what makes the US economy vibrant... but everyone else needs to find out for themselves... cheers...
