Not extending the debt ceiling doesn't even equal default (since payments on the debt are less than federal revenue), and actual default isn't anarchy.

You tell your nuanced view of a default to international investors. I doubt they will buy it.

100% true. 278 people either voted the PPACA in to law or signed it in to law, our of around 315 million Americans. As for "more Americans oppose the law than support it" the polls have demonstrated this consistently. Some show a majority opposing, others only a plurality, but poll after poll after poll shows more opposing than supporting.


It hasn't been consistent...........in many polls when you combine who likes it and those who want more, you have a plurality. Those who hate it are a minority. And btw, ACA is growing in popularity and will continue to do so as its implemented.

Nope. House Rs are holding the economy hostage to get their ideological needs met. You all sank the economy in 2008 and you're trying to do it again. Stop it.........NOW!
