Hi Investor2 -

Re: CVX

My top holding in the portfolio and I have even peeled off shares as it got too large of a position in the portfolio. I picked up TX years ago (mid 90's) as it was a value buy and paid a good dividend. Then it was bought out by CVX and I took the CVX shares.

I guess it is good to be lucky too. It was and still is a buy and hold position for me.

I also own COP and XOM. My most recent buys have been in COP in 2011. For me, XOM may be the best buy at this time of the three (CVX, XOM & COP). I have also been adding BP.
