Turbo tax is a very rough approximation of the US Tax code. I'll bet the IRS could put them out of business tomorrow if they chose. And screw everyone who used the product. And I'm sure they'd have the law to support them. They don't because it helps keep people mollified and that's to their advantage. For now. Since I use the product I hope they keep the right politicians well greased.
