When these elected representatives through their votes in Congress signal that guns are OK to out on the streets, then what they are essentially saying is that power speaks through the barrel of a gun.

Aren't they the ones who passed the gun laws. So what does a citizen do when he/she feels that the country they live in feels threatened? Where is the "stand your ground" law Florida?

This country has gone crazy and Obama needs to act and exercise his constitutional power to restore some sense in this society. Recall he did not do much about banning guns even when more thann 70% of the nation felt they should be banned. I hope he does something now when more than 70% of the nation feels that the actions of the Congress is holding the nation hostage. To me now, it does not matter if they are Republicans or Dems who are responsible for this current situation.
