I recently saw an ad in PC magazine for the Sparq, the Syjet and the Jaz. All three had seek times of about 12 ms. Data transfer for the Jaz and Syjet were about 7mbs and it showed the Sparq at about 16.5mps or almost 2 1/2 times faster. Is this true of the EIDE model?

Also there has been considerable comparison with the Zip and the Sparq, Talk about the proverbial Apple and Orange comparison, the Zip is a dated, slow 100 mb floppy, the spaq (EIDE) is a high speed 1g hard drive if the data transfer times are to be believed.

I use the EZ135 currently and will switch to the sparq as soon as they become available. 1g is a lot of data and its nice to be able to take it with you, or store data off site. The zip is simply too slow and too small to be practical any more. At least the Lz120 can read 1.44 disks.
