The Tea Party is dangerous to this country.
The Tea Party is vital to this country. They seem to be the only organized political group that is sounding the alarm bells over runaway deficit spending. Without them, you might as well continue to print money until inflation kicks in.

The real danger to this country are so-called "Keynesian" economists like Paul Krugman, and they have become real left-wing hacks as of late.
