Oh let them have another conservative cesspool. Who cares? The "open" threads just become sewers of name calling. There's no value in them. The "freedom" to be obnoxious to others is a "freedom" that really does not exist in 3D without severe consequences, and is a ridiculous thing to cherish. The ability to eliminate those consequences in some of the backwaters of the internet is not a positive factor, imo.
