Shane,
Do I have this straight? Currency problems for some are benefiting others. Iomega, for example, manufactures stuff in Asia (now at a lower cost) and sells it here.....so, lucky Iomega. Now, for a company that has that currency advantage, but at the same time has depended on (and will now) experience less sales in Asia, it's a wash, right? So, I guess those companies that depend on sales in Asia, but have no production in Asia to take advantage of the devalued currency, are probably the biggest losers, right? And for now, all get swooshed together while the slow market sorts it all out, even though the market is supposed to have all of this already priced in......is that right? ........maybe we need this explained by TSO! or Haim!
And now I'm beginning to think currency trading sounds like the way to go these days. I'm not going to even try to do it myself, but I am thinking of giving some $$$ to somebody else to do it for me.
Also some trivia.......just heard that 1 out of every 3 cranes in the whole wide world were working in Singapore during September....... 1 out of every 3 in the world!
Just keeping my head in the sand today.....trying not to make any hasty dumb chicken trades.
E!
