I'm curious about this WSJ piece but can't read it. I would have to subscribe and am not going to do so. Any chance you could find a way to post it. I would like to see their evidence for the argument that pre-k doesn't work. Everything I've read suggests that it does. And all the local schools are flooded with requests for such whenever the topic gets on the discussion table. So parents genuinely think so. In addition, one would need to compare the specifics of de Blasio's argument with their assertions. The editorial page of the WSJ is notoriously ideological; not just right wing leaning.
