Well, let's face it, this unmoderated battleground is one of the few places on SI where people from the two realities in America actually come together to "discuss" issues. Other than that, we just sort of huddle in our comfort zones. I learn what Fox "News" viewers "know" here. I discover crucial "issues", like the WWII memorial being "barry-caded" by Obama, because HE shut down the government by not "compromising". Without this thread, I'd have no knowledge of these crucial American happenings. This history being written in my ignorance.
