I'm not sure about the ignore feature rule. I believe that a person's right to be heard is important. But what if they have someone on ignore from activities on another thread? shouldn't we honor the fact that the other threads don't have the same rule? Maybe what we do is have a "no ignore" rule for anybody who has posted to the thread to date, but new people who come to the thread would be able to have their ignores since they weren't here when we made the rule and it's not fair to them to change what they are used to.
