I believe bentway want to keep it an open thread with no moderator.Am I wrong that you wanted to make it a moderated thread?

What bentway wants is not important. If you look at all of the people who have hurt feelings because of things said on this thread, it is clear that it needs more structure. The majority will benefit from a thread that is more civil and kind.

There is a democratic process already in place to make the change.

I will be running for thread moderator.

I will also be posting a set of thread rules for everyone to vote on. If you would like input on the rules, please send me a PM with your suggestion and I will do my best to incorporate them before the vote later tonight.
