The sports metaphor of throwing in the towel worked very nicley describing the GOP nitwits today just as the metaphor of you sinking in further & further into the quicksand with your hapless campaign against evolution, , the tree of life metaphor is still standing tall, if more like the mangrove than the oak.

Here you are trying to repeat to yourself "only God can make a tree" , but the DNA tells another story pointing all the way back to one celled cyanobacteria.The metaphor of the Denial is river in Egypt applies to you as well or the kid with his finger in the dyke fits well too. ;o)
