Well, then, Skinowski, is there a way to determine how many undocumented people avail themselves of the ER every month nationwide, or is the info only done per each hospital? If this is true now, and they don't have to have photo ID like the rest of us, it is just no wonder our bills are SO high, and the hospital bills us AND our insurance those high bills making our own costs much higher than need be. I've never had a Doctor who has overcharged to my knowledge....their bills have been pretty reasonable....but that sure as heck isn't the same as with the hospitals.

Why don't the hospitals have urgent care clinics on their grounds?...Not everyone is needing emergency care, but at night or on the weekends or holidays when something happens that they need help quickly, seems to me that would be a much better idea, and a good deal less costly. If they really needed ER help, the regular hospital would only be less than a block away. Heart attacks need ER, but normally broken bones do not...
