With the failure of the Zman top on the S&P do you still maintain your view of the decline from 1729 to 1646 as five waves? I have always seen only three waves in that decline. I might mention that my work only applies to the S&P since I believe it best reflects the herd mood which is what EWP tracks.
I do not allow any part of a wave four to enter the territory of a wave one and that is a difference in our application of EWP.
l think it is possible that this advance from 1646 (which is now countable as three waves) could be wave 5 of an ending diagonal (5) which began at 1560. If so we are nearing a major top.
There is, as always, an alternate count, but I believe this less bullish one to be the most probable. We will see.

As a side note, I may strongly disagree with your politics but I admire your efforts to keep your board open to a civil discussion of differing TA and views of the market. Best of luck with that.
