I think he's right. I was thinking as I attempted to apply, "What is this thing doing with the info I'm providing it, attempting to verify my identity?". I realized it must be connecting with other computers in the IRS, SS admin, and God know what other agencies, attempting to find out if I was me. Systems probably in no way up to the task of dealing with the millions of query's flooding in from the Obamacare website. We're probably fortunate that it didn't take out the computing capability of the entire government through an unintended DNS attack! When you look at it like that, what's amazing is that it works for anyone, at all. This is a seriously complex system, as complex as a moon shot.
