| | | Don't know how many of you read the piece with Mark Steyn and Hugh Hewitt, but I loved this particular group of words by Mark Steyn.....Wish I could have stated the problem with such clarity....
I mean, we need to have, one of the fascinating things about this is that I think we need to actually separate out the budget process.
And I think the budget process ought to be the prerogative of the House of Representatives, the way it is in the lower house in Canada, Britain, Australia, India, South Africa, Ireland, New Zealand, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Belize, across the planet.
And I think otherwise, you have this horrible, hideous horse trading by these puffed up little tin pot Gulf emirs with their vast entourages.
And you cannot have anything but corrupt, sclerotic, big-spending government under that scenario. |
