>>If that is not acceptable on this thread, may be this one should be my last post here<<

Hi Mohan--let me first say that I got the impression that Mary's remarks were somewhat tongue in cheek -- but if I am wrong regarding that, I don't think that you should stop posting here just because your point of view is contrary to that of Iqbal and some of his more ardent followers.

As you know, I am probably more in agreement with Iqbal than with you regarding the outlook for the market. Your postings serve a great purpose in helping maintain some perspective in terms of where things really are. As far as Iqbal's comments regarding the Asian markets, the sheer absurdity of suggesting that the bears are the ones who lost out during the recent decimation that the Asian markets have been through is obvious -- I was all set to point this out to him when you did so. There are times when I wonder if Iqbal reads what he is posting before pushing the "submit" button. He is way too knowledgeable and seasoned a trader to really believe some of the more outlandish conclusions that he espouses. The other reason why there may be this difference of opinion is that he may be commenting on a broad long term macro view and we are looking at it shorter-term. In the long run, I do believe that the Asian economies will come back and end up being viewed as star-performers down the line.

In any event don't stop posting here -- for one thing your perspective is much needed and besides it goes against the grain for me to see someone feeling that thir views are not welcome just because it does not agree with the majority on the thread.

Take care
