Marijuana donations not accepted at thrift stores BY Stephanie Klein on October 18, 2013 @ 4:14 pm (Updated: 4:19 pm - 10/18/13 )

The next time you go through your closet looking for items to donate to the local thrift store, Seattle Police recommend not adding your marijuana to the pile. The department wants to remind the citizens of Seattle after a thrift store employee at a North Seattle store found a garbage bag with 2.5 pounds of marijuana inside.

Officers took the pot and placed it in evidence after the employee reported the discovery Thursday afternoon.
