This is a really silly argument, and the telling thing is that your position is maintained by those who have been employees but never hired them.

There is a new BassPro opening near here, and they're paying $12. But anyone who doesn't have some kind of meaningful work experience is not in the running. I talked today to a customer whose son had been over to apply and was told, "Sorry, we're only hiring people with experience."

You absolutely must have low paying jobs to allow entry-level people an opportunity to learn the basic skills of showing up for work on time, doing your job, perhaps making change and dealing with customers. IF you don't, these people will be unemployable forever.

This is so un-complicated I don't really see why some people can't grasp it.
