This specific conversation started with my response to

"RWingNutz ban folks before they even POST!!! Don't play dumb on this thread!!">

That IS THE SAME conversation... the fact that you weren't following along isn't my problem. You should have read HIS post that I responded to AND his response to that which you would have liked: {paraphrase} "you can't ban before someone posts"! Which was a direct correction of my assertion. LOL

<That was a statement about how one side bans the other.>

Yes, and if you were wise enough to actually look back, or ask what the topic was, THEN YOU WOULD KNOW that it was all about "the dreadfulness of banning so quickly for no reason" {paraphrase}. Which I thought (still think) is pretty laughable on SI, especially the political threads.

It's not my fault you didn't know the topic.

< My data was highly relevant to that.>

Yea, to what you THOUGHT the conversation was about perhaps....

That said I was surprised actually at the outcome... although I'd like to include all the threads under politics (might "smooth" the outcome, but probably not flip it the other way? Of course by making it quantitative and not qualitative, like the actual topic... you leave all sorts of interpretations open which could easily reverse what one might HOPE it shows.
