The QUIK story is interesting. I have owned a substantial position for a long while.

While INVN has been advocating its all-in-one 6 and 9 axis chips with the captive MPU, QUIK is following the path seemingly preferred by Apple, Samsung, Motorola and likely many others in their leading edge phones and tablets and surely newer devices like the smartwatches too. That is they are doing their own integration of a rapidly expanding set of discrete sensors using a separate processor chip like the new QUIK sensor hub. If you design in INVN MPU chips you likely can't achieve the flexibility, power savings or sophistication in software that will be expected in leading edge phones and tablets. The simpler 3 axis and 6 axis devices could still fit this model. I own INVN too --- I'm sure they understand this better than I think I do.
