| | | My litmus test for government control, Socialism and Communism, is how are prices determined. Are they based on supply and demand or are there price controls in place? With Obamacare, they have drawn up massive lists of every conceivable procedure and they have set the prices for those procedures that the government is willing to pay. This is the most clear, expansive, and pervasive example of Communism in America that I have seen in my life.
What most Americans fail to realize is that when a program of this magnitude is put in place and at its center is massive price control, it is an extreme lurch to Communism. Communism and Socialism inevitably lead to the need for a giant policing organization to force people to do what they don't want to do. This inevitably leads to laws like the Patriot Act and FISA laws and changes to the Tax code and regulations within the IRS where Americans must be spied on to gather intelligence to see who is in compliance with Obamacare or not. This stasi-like infrastructure then will be used together with a police state to enforce the law.
Once you have the infrastructure for tyranny in place, which the US already does, then it is only a matter of time before a new Chavez, Castro, or Hitler rises to power and uses that infrastructure of tyranny to become a Dictator and enact a reign of terror.
Already, Obama and Bush before him, have shredded our Constitution and used it for toilet paper. We have no protections left and they are steadily eroding our basic Freedoms. We're on a slippery slope and sliding down the slope to Tyranny fast. |
