It is difficult to see more than a band of 100 marauders encroaching on very uninteresting lamma in any coordinated way, as it is difficult to see 100 marauders as a group interested in lamma,
On the other hand, lamma had been source of own native but outward bound marauders, and lamma can probably manage a neighborhood-watch local brotherhood of perhaps several thousand.
In other way of thought, during the darkest interregnum post apocalypse, it may be significantly safer on Manhattan than tranquil in Colorado, but perhaps okay in Montana unless one happens to chance neighbor a single psycho or an occasional lone marauder. However, if on continental USA, maybe small towns of 5,000-20,000 or so is best.
Don't know, due to lack of direct experience as am speculating way off the usual mapped arena. As events progress all shall become clearer.
Bottom line, as and when central banking breaks and fiat currencies melt, law and order breaks down. As and when law and order breaks down, being isolated may work. Being alone may not. |
