I don't think that's true. The plan can change or be cancelled and replaced.

I have no predisposition (ideological or otherwise) against getting in an exchange plan if it turns out to be the best option for me; but I also understand that future premiums for them will be based on enrollment of young healthy people who, imo, will not enroll in these plans. If

But considering the price you have been paying. you are already in a plan that seems to mimic these conditions, Even if what you fear happens in the ACA, and I doubt it would as pervasively as you suggest, you'd be back to where you are now at worse.
