I disagree completely! I think the FED gave itself a little breathing room due to the turmoil on capital hill. There's no one in their right mind who thinks we should hold onto the ZIRP any longer than necessary and it's becoming increasingly clear that it's no longer necessary. The FED erred on the side of caution....they did not want to derail what little progress has been made.

Slow, steady, consistently rising rates won't hurt in the long run. Sure there will be turbulent times when they start to taper and then raise rates but it's been coming for the past year and a few month delay won't cause any harm, IMO.
