VXX at the moment is unchanged from yesterday's close, yet the S+P was down 8 and the SPY is currently down 0.69. Either the VXX is going to explode up or the market is going to rally tomorrow, would be my guess on this apparent disconnect. Should be interesting to see if this is the case or if there's more "afoot"?
