More like, the hospitals won't have an insurance company to pay them for rendered services, and obviously the beggars won't have the deductible for some expensive procedure.

In the interest of the public good and fairness they obviously can't live with diminished service levels for the "least advantaged" people in an enlightened society where there's such abundance. Therefore they will have to raise more funds in order to give proper care to those most in need.

In a society where fairness and goodness and equality and enlightenment are pursued instead of learning and creating and achieving and risking it's people like me who had better close the blinds and bolt the doors because sooner or later those suckling at the teat will demand more. That's when you hear the mob rounding the corner of your block and you'd better rub dirt on your face and make sure the gold's buried deep.
