The launch issues are symbolic of the entire enterprise. ........it seems the website issues are confined primarily to the govt site.......not the sites created by the individual states. Should tell people something. After about 10 days of initial problems, the NY site works OK.....you do have to create an account to see and price plans............but you can get un-subsidized pricing as well as your subsidized price. You can input different projected incomes to see how your subsidy changes. Overall.....very helpful....However, there is NO getting past the fact that premiums for anyone making a decent living go way up. My premium would go up about 40% for a similar coverage level and I'm suppose to one of those who benefits from Obamacare. It is above ANYTHING else a simple redistribution of wealth from the well off to the not so well off. Once the law really kicks in and your actual healthcare degrades and is limited......then it will be so much more than simple wealth redistribution. I see rates skyrocketing again next year.
