Seems like the best time for marriage is around 27 or 28 or even 30. By then, they hopefully have a job (had it for several years), pretty much know what they want out of life, subject to change at any time of course, don't live at home any more (hopefully), live far enough away from parents so they (parents) aren't a nuisance still trying to run their life but close enough so each can visit once in a while... by invitation only... yada yada yada. Gee. do I sound preachy or what! But then again, I never had a relationship in elementary, junior high, high school, or the first couple of years of college (lasted only 7 months) so I didn't have to suffer through being dumped or being the dumpee. I assume that makes me a late bloomer, but I've spent the last 50 years trying to catch up except for the last 38 because my wife won't let me. :-)
