You're picking on canned managementspeak that every single corporate CEO has used at sometime in his career?
The thing is that when it comes to these CEOs, some of them actually mean it. Those are the ones who actually got there because, among other things, they cared the most.

Those CEOs who don't really mean it can easily be picked out in a crowd full of CEOs.

If Obama were a CEO, he would stand out like a sore thumb among the latter crowd.
