Evansiville Police Department Buys FirstVu HD Cameras from DGLY On Wed, Evansville Police Department received approval to purchase body worn cameras for their officers. They will be equipping the officers with "FirstVu HD" cameras from Digital Ally. They expect the cameras to be in service within the next few weeks. The cameras were purchased with money from the drug forfeiture funds. The use of body cameras is a nationwide trend and they feel these cameras will be an asset to the police officers and the community. (See Evansville Police Department Web Page) ** Evansville has 285 police officers DGLY is selling its FirstVu HD cameras as fast as they can make it. Production ramp up is needed imo
