OT: Strange (to me) market reaction to a couple of stocks I own:

ScanSource apparently beat 1Q expectations but guides below consensus for next quarter. Stock rises to a 12 mo. high. Doesn't look like a value stock as I scan it now. In from 12/10, I closed out the position now.

Sort of the same with ETN: " Eaton reports EPS in-line, misses on revs; guides Q4 EPS below consensus, revs below consensus ( ETN) 68.50 : Reports Q3 (Sep) earnings of $1.12 per share, excluding non-recurring items, in-line with the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate consensus of $1.12; revenues rose 41.9% year/year to $5.61 bln vs the $5.69 bln consensus." (Gain largely from an acquisition)

Stock also rose to a new 12-mo high. I saw that as a selling opportunity, and I sold 90% of my ETN shares.

Closed AWK, Am Water Works, which was my best and favorite utility performer. Trimmed Novo Nordisk, my favorite stock working obesity problems in USA. Trimmed outsize positions in GOV and PNNT. Sold 1/2 of my few remaining shares in VVTV, another 2009 buy. (in at $.28/sh; sold today at $5.55/sh).
