The conservative paradigm will not work going forward. We need to be able to adapt quickly to new problems in a quickly evolving technological world.

The conservative paradigm will be run over by the rest of the world. In fact we are being run over right now because the last 40 years have been dominated by conservative ideas e.g. only western democracy without universal health care and look how they are trying to stop it once again. They always think this way. New deal, social Security, medicare.

The pubs are still working on evolution and gay rights and the liberals have put both of those away and are onto global warming, dangers of plutocracy, pollution, over population, and nuclear existence and dangers.

Bush was Borrowing from China to fight a 7th century culture living in caves and no existential threat to us at all.

All the while China was gaining on us and the conservatives just saw them as a source of cheap labor, not a future threat.

Today China has stronger computers than we do and 10 times as many top scientists. Bush never noticed them.

If they get a quantum computer before we get quantum encryption their computers will be able to blow right through our encryption. The Chinese are messing with us right now in the world of the internet.
