If we ever used wood to heat our home again, I'd try to find a stove that was so efficient there would be enough coals left over from the night before that we could just throw in more wood in the morning and it would be the catalist that started another round of heating. Not sure if such an animal exists?

We've always had an aversion to burning plastic, but we're coming around to the idea. If we were camping in the rain, and needed to start a fire, the pill bottle idea would be the perfect solution.
