So...Parker Schnabel left Haines, Alaska to go seek his fortune in the Yukon but his initiation ceremony seems like a kick in the nuggets. Did Tony B. sell him a piece of moose pasture on purpose, to contribute to Parker's education? He did say something like "Lessons cost a lot and good ones cost even more." Meanwhile, although Todd H. does often appear to be a buffoon (impulse buying that turbo trommel last season, for example), and seems to personify the worst common misperceptions about the industry...I do have to admire his persistence in the face of adversity. Pretty funny that they thought they were just going to just drop right into Peru and set up a mining operation. That area is about 100 miles from Ollachea. What the Hoffman crew experienced is exactly what happened to Rio Tinto and why it took IRL 18 months to get the initial agreement with the community. However, when everyone is onside, good luck to any NGOs trying to mess with the project.
